Arthur's Bazaar at Loxcare

Loxcare is situated on the corner of Drabsch St and Pyap St in Loxton. Arthur's Bazaar is at Shop 17 Drabsch St Loxton (opposite Police Station), open Tuesday 9am to 2pm, Thursday 9am to 4.30pm and Friday 9am to 2pm.  Thank you to everyone who donates clothing and bric-a-brac. Living Waters Christian Community Library

Living Waters Christian Community Library has a large range of resources available to the public, including books on Christian living, spiritual growth and ministry, biographies, fiction and magazines, teaching DVDs and movies, children's DVDs and Christian music CDs.  Membership is free, all welcome.  Open Sundays after the 10am worship service, and Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am to 3pm.  For information call 8584 5044.

First and Third Thursdays - ADRA Community Food Pantry

If you're a pensioner, unemployed or on a low income, you can save big on food bills at the ADRA Food Pantry.  Open on the first and third Thursday of the month, from 1pm to 4pm at the Genesis Building, Riverland Adventist Centre, 19 Sunrise Court (off the Old Sturt Highway) in Berri.  Long shelf life food stocks, with near or post best by dates, available at very low Donation prices, and some fresh fruit and vegetables subject to availability.  For information call Pastor Rick Meale on 0435 502 757.

Saturday 25th November - Riverland Prayer Vigil

A prayer vigil is being held across the Riverland on Saturday 25th November at various times in Anglican churches in Loxton, Morgan, Waikerie, Monash, Renmark and Berri.  All are welcome to come and join in and pray and meditate at any of the seven Anglican churches on the day.  For details of opening times at each town go to

Sunday 26th November - Christmas Craft Fair

Browse the many Christmas gifts, cooking and decorations at the one-day-only Christmas Craft Fair, from 10am to 3pm Sunday 26th November at the RSL Hall, Tobruk Tce Loxton.  Admission is free.

Saturday 25th November - Sunday 17th December - Christmas Tree Festival

The theme for this year's Christmas Tree Festival is 'Wild, Wacky and Wonderful'.  Open daily from 11am to 6pm from Saturday 25th November to Sunday 17th December, at the Loxton CWA Hall, Kokoda Tce Loxton.  Gold coin donation appreciated.

Sunday 26th November - Reacharge Youth Service

Reacharge Youth is holding a Youth Service on Sunday 26th November at the Loxton Uniting Church, Martha Street Loxton, starting with a free BBQ and activities at 5pm, followed by the service, finished at 7.30pm, with a challenging message and awesome band!  All are welcome, bring your friends and family.

Sunday 10th December - Waikerie Carols by Candlelight

Waikerie Carols By Candlelight is on Sunday 10th December at the Waikerie Civic Centre Lawns.  A BBQ and children's activities start at 6.30pm and the official program begins at 7.00pm, with performances from local community and school groups and community singing.  The young (and young at heart) are encouraged to come dressed as Angels and Shephers to celebrate the Christmas Story.  Information is on Facebook or call Bec on 8541 2739.
